The Best Connection is looking to recruit a number of steel operatives for one of our prestigious clients based on the South Park Industrial Estate.
This is an ongoing position that can lead to a permanent contract for the right candidate.
This will be a rotating shift pattern consisting of: 06:00 - 14:00 14:00 - 22:00 The starting pay rate will be £12.69 Per Hour
The Ideal candidate should possess the following: OHC License (overhead crane) Warehouse Experience Long Products steel Experience Good Knowledge of Health & safety Loading / Discharging Loads Tug Unit / Shunting Experience. Digitast Experience (not Essential Training given). SAP Knowledge The Job duties will include but are not limited to: Operating an overhead crane Loading and un-loading Trailers Shunter Driving Adhering to all aspects of Health & Safety, set by the Company. Stock replenishment, in line with the correct rotation of stock This is an exciting opportunity for someone that is looking to further their career within the steel industry.
Please Note: Only candidates that have previous experience working with steel will be considered for this role.

- 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)

- 24hr Oncall Support

- Ongoing Assignment
- Overtime Available
- Possible permanent position following a successful trial period
