Job title: Science Technician Salary: CSET 11, £24,790 FTE, £8,934 prorated Hours: 15.5 hours per week. Monday - Wednesday (39 weeks of the year) Contract Type: Permanent Location: Mangotsfield School, BS16 9LH About the role You will work under the direction of the Head of faculty, providing technical and administrative support to help enable our students to receive a full experience of Science in School. You will ensure that equipment in the department is stored safely and securely, help maintain sufficient supplies of materials and undertake basic record keeping. You’ll be part of a collaborative team of technicians who share the same passion for supporting students to achieve their very best.About youYou will have great organisational skills and a can-do attitude. You’ll be personable and have excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships with students, peers and colleagues across the trust. Ideally you will have knowledge of the types of materials and equipment you would find in a laboratory and the most appropriate way to use them.
