We are currently seeking a Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner (RMN core qualification) to join the ADHD Service in Lancaster and Morecambe. If you are a dedicated mental health professional with a passion for working with young people, we want to hear from you.
Job Description:
As part of the ADHD Service team, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care and support to young people undergoing the ADHD assessment pathway. Your primary responsibilities will include:
-Undertaking face-to-face ADHD assessments with young people.
-Writing up comprehensive reports and documentation.
-Progressing individuals through the ADHD assessment process.
-Supporting the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) in diagnostic discussions and decision-making.
While experience in ADHD assessments is beneficial, we are committed to supporting your development. We will provide the necessary training and mentorship to help you expand your skills and take on independent assessments.
Key Requirements:
-RMN Core Qualification.
-Experience in a mental health setting, with an interest in ADHD or neurodiversity.
-Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
-A commitment to providing person-centred care and delivering positive outcomes for service users.
