We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced cancer nurse to join our team as a Skin Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist on a two-year fixed term contract that is funded by the UCLH Charity.

We are looking for an individual with strong communication skills who has the ability to impart complex information to patients, relatives and carers. You should be able to demonstrate an understanding of the physical and psychological challenges faced by this group of patients. You will be joining an established multi-disciplinary team and will be responsible for offering expert clinical advice and emotional support to patients.

This is the first Skin Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist role at UCLH, and the successful candidate will have an enthusiasm for setting up and establishing a new service.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and capable individual to be part of this highly specialised team. You will work as a core member of the multi-disciplinary team and use your clinical expertise to co -ordinate high-quality care. You will have the opportunity to improve patient care and help develop the service to help us meet the needs of the increasing number of patients living with and beyond their cancer diagnosis and receiving ever more complex treatments along more lengthy pathways.
