Due to promotion of the existing post holder, CUH Pharmacy are excited to advertise this senior role within the Clinical Pharmacy team.
You will have the opportunity to develop your leadership and managerial skillset, as well as to maintain a clinical commitment to a relevant specialty.
Our ideal candidate would have an extensive background within clinical pharmacy, a passion for service improvement, be able to build excellent working relationships and have a track record of delivering on projects at divisional and organisational level.
If successful you would have the opportunity to work alongside system leaders and MDT colleagues to improve the management of patients receiving care at CUH.

Deputise for the Associate Chief Pharmacist – Clinical Pharmacy Services (ACP-CS)
Plan, lead and evaluate inpatient focussed clinical pharmacy services in conjunction with the Lead/Consultant Pharmacists.
Support the ACP-CS with business planning and service development, including maintaining an effective recruitment strategy.
Support the ACP-CS to implement key innovations and service developments relating to clinical pharmacy practice e.g. incorporation of pharmacogenomics into clinical pharmacy practice, pharmacist prescribing at the point of registration, Pharmacy Technician clinical screening, job planning, digital innovation.
Support the ACP-CS and the Consultant Pharmacist Medication Safety to ensure governance and safety of the clinical pharmacy service and medicines use in general.
