IPS Group is working with a Global Insurer in the city of Birmingham which offers future long-term progression and the opportunity to be involved in complex underwriting across niche areas.
As a Construction & Engineering Underwriter, you will be working alongside your peers where you provide effective underwriting support and have your own portfolio of new business and renewals. You will have exposure to various different cases either through their e-trading platform or manual complex cases managing the process from start to finish. This is a unique opportunity that will give you the empowerment to write business as well as develop relationships across the regional market. They are ideally looking for someone who wants to speak with brokers and be proactive in risks that are up for grabs.
We are looking to speak to Insurance Professionals that is already experienced within underwriting or an individual that is keen to enter this area within Insurance. You will need to have exposure to various risks such as Construction, Engineering & Technology across either new business or renewals.
Hybrid working will be available however there will be an expectation to be present for the first couple of weeks due to the nature of the role.
