Summary
About the Program:
At spireMinds, we're offering an immersive DevOps Internship Program aimed at individuals eager to learn and grow in the field of cloud computing and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD). This is a paid internship, providing hands-on training valued at over £10,000. You will gain experience working with industry-leading tools and platforms, preparing you for a future in DevOps engineering. Successful interns may be offered a full-time position at the end of the program.
Key Learning Outcomes:
Comprehensive training in cloud platforms including Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Azure DevOps, and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Exposure to the full DevOps lifecycle: planning, coding, building, testing, releasing, and monitoring.
Gain hands-on experience in CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure management.
Tools & Technologies You’ll Learn:
Cloud Platforms: Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Azure DevOps, Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Version Control & Collaboration: Git (GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket)
Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Jenkins, CircleCI, Travis CI, Azure Pipelines
Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation (AWS)
Monitoring & Logging: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), Datadog
Automation & Scripting: Python, Bash/Shell scripting, PowerShell (for Windows environments)
Security Tools: HashiCorp Vault, AWS IAM (Identity and Access Management)
Azure Active Directory (AD)
Networking & Load Balancing: Nginx, HAProxy, AWS ELB (Elastic Load Balancing)
Azure Traffic Manager
Artifact Repositories: JFrog Artifactory, Nexus Repository
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in team discussions to plan and execute DevOps projects.
- Complete your certification in AWS, Azure and GCP.
- Learn how to manage cloud environments and ensure smooth deployment across various platforms.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to implement automation across development and operational environments.
- Develop and maintain internal documentation for processes, tools, and best practices.
Requirements:
Good Mathematics and Reasoning skills
Basic understanding of computing
Keen interest in learning cloud computing, automation, and development workflows.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Training & Mentorship:
This internship includes direct mentorship from DevOps engineers, with access to training resources and hands-on experience in real-world projects. You will leave the program with the skills needed to pursue a career in DevOps.
Working Hours - 1 hour per day
Duration - 1 to 6 months
