About Us:

The Swad House Limited T/a Spice Hut is a popular restaurant in Nottingham, known for its wide variety of delicious cuisines, including pizzas, burgers, desserts, and signature combo dishes. With plans to launch authentic Indian food soon, Spice Hut offers dine-in, takeaway, and delivery services to a diverse clientele, including students, office goers, and loyal patrons. Strategically located next to a new student accommodation facility, the restaurant is poised for growth and expansion.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s in hospitality management or master’s in hospitality

Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant industry experience (preferred).

Responsibilities:

As a Restaurant Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Restaurant. Responsibilities include:

1) Oversee the day-to-day front of house operation, following standard operating procedures ensuring a safe and secure environment for all.
2) Report any maintenance problems.
3) Complete relevant administrative tasks including team Rota’s, Safety and Legislative compliance checks.
4) Drive continuous improvement, provide solutions to issues and set goals for growth.
5) Working with food and drink suppliers.
6) Engage and inspire the team to always be Guest obsessed.
7) Implementing appropriate strategies to resolve adverse trends and improve sales
8) Auditing inventory levels to ensure product availability, and ordering products as necessary
9) Following all company policy and procedures regarding dealing with cash, equipment and property

LOCATION: Nottingham - UK.

JOB TYPE: Full-time, permanent. 37.5 hours per week.
