Summary
Fabrication Department Manager
Our client are a leading innovator and manufacturer of automated, high-technology, food processing equipment, with a worldwide customer base. As part of their rapid growth, They recently set up an internal laser cutting section investing in a 4x2m fibre flatbed laser, an 8m fibre tube laser and a 7axis Amada Press.
Our client are looking for an experienced Fabrication Department Manager to manage and continuously improve the section. our client only cut stainless and run one of the cleanest laser shops you will find. This is a fantastic opportunity for career development with the opportunity to grow your skills leading a section using the latest flatbed and tube fibre lasers, 7 axis Amada press and Lantek CAM software.
Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4pm
Salary £40000 (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
• Experienced Section Leader, with proven leadership skills, operating in a safe, efficient working environment
• Experienced Setting and Operating Laser Cutting and Press Brake Machines
• Experience with Lantek CAM and Amada software
• Work quickly and accurately in a precision, high-technology environment
• Ability to visually quality check work/components
• Able to read and understand technical drawings
• Good work ethic, team spirit and a flexible approach
• Open to career development and training on other equipment and company departments
