What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher to join our strong staff team on a fixed term contract of one year.
We are a two- form entry school, therefore you will be working as part of the year group team. You will be able to plan engaging lessons following our chosen curriculum and agreed lesson structure. You will be part of the Trust’s exciting &iLearn iPad project with full training and support provided.
What the school offers its staff
Tollgate is committed to working with our families and the local community to develop the children’s academic and social skills. We offer a warm and welcoming environment with a dedicated staff team who are supportive of one another. There is a clear vision for school development to improve outcomes for all pupils.
Tollgate was graded ‘good’ by Ofsted in October 2023 with inspectors noting that the children are happy, safe and well cared for. They also commented on our high expectations of children as we deliver the ambitious CUSP curriculum.
Tollgate is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. DBS and all other relevant checks will be required for this post. Visits to the school are encouraged. ECT’s welcome to apply.
Commitment to safeguarding
Unity Schools Partnership is committed to safer recruitment, equal opportunities, safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check will be required.
