The Best Connection are searching for a dedicated logistics professional to join our valued customer at Manchester Airport (M90 5EW) as a Ramp Agent in the Flight Handler department for a temporary to permanent position starting asap! This is an excellent opportunity to work in the fast paced exiting world of Aviation logistics!
Pay and hours for Ramp Agent in the Flight Handler department at Manchester Airport (M90 5EW) £14.33 per hour Rotating shifts from 5am - 11pm. Inc bank holidays and weekends full flexibility required Key responsibilities and accountabilities for Ramp Agent in the Flight Handler department at Manchester Airport (M90 5EW) Plan, coordinate daily workloads before the start of each shift and work with internal colleagues to meet daily deadlines Ensure all in-flight meals, special meals and products are assembled according to Client Flight Specification Place Security Seals on All Storage Trolleys Ready for Dispatch Deliver all items to aircraft and confirm menu briefing with crew to ensure flight is fully catered Ensure suite dressers dress cabins according to client's specifications Responsible to make sure required airline standards are met regarding packing plans. (Full training and supporting documents will be given) Effectively load airline food and catering supplies inside delivery trucks and at the Aircraft Utilise effective communications to minimise delays and resolve problems Multitasking and work under pressure Lift and/or push approximately 50lbs Assist with other duties within various departments as and when required Adhere to Unit safety measures in place Adhere to inflight services security compliance Adhere to clean as you go standard Interact with, colleagues, customers and clients in a professional manner at all Times Comply with all unit Corporate, Social, Responsibility initiatives Any other duties as requested by your manager Knowledge and Skills Ramp Agent in the Flight Handler department at Manchester Airport (M90 5EW) Full clean UK Driving license Minimum 1 years' airline industry, experience (desirable) An ability to work well under pressure and part of a team Proven problem-solving skills, efficiency and organisational skills Self-motivation, commitment, enthusiasm, the ability to work calmly under pressure and on your own initiative Excellent communication skills, written and verbal with a customer centered approach to service delivery Operational awareness, understand of HACCP, COSHH, requirements and any other training as specified by your manager The ability to be an effective ambassador for the organisation at all times and Whilst Wearing Uniform Off duty Be willing to provide 5 year work and address history via HMRC records Be willing to obtain a police background check (paid for by The Best Connection) Be willing to pass all additional Aviation employee qualifications provided

- 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
