St Matthew’s Primary School is seeking to employ a TA level 1 to join, in the first instance, our busy and thriving EYFS Unit. The role will involve general support for teaching and learning as well as some tailored 1-1 SEND support. You will join a team committed to inclusion and expect to be deployed to where most needed in the knowledge that deployment needs to be flexible to respond to new and emerging support needs. Totally focused on our children and families, we are proud to be a school that places happiness at the centre of everything for those who learn and work here.
If you are a person who:
- Has an interest in EYFS teaching and learning, learning through play balanced with adult-directed, academic foundation approaches,
- Has an interest in learning about or prior experience working with/caring for young learners with EHCP funding,
- Has an interest in or prior experience of working with children presenting with social, emotional, mental health needs,
- Is fully committed to celebration of inclusion,
- Will deal sensitively and swiftly when supporting around any issues involving intimate care,
- Will, on occasion, enjoy being re-deployed to other areas of school to support where need may arise on any given day,
Then we would love to hear from you! We are excited to add to our very dedicated team to bring in someone who can offer the skills, the empathy and the person-centred drive to support our young learners.
