Relief Milker/Farm Technician (Bank)
Variable Hours
£13.92 per hour
A general Farm Technician is required to work within our friendly, social farm team, working with staff and students on our busy College Farm. Your work will be predominantly livestock husbandry based with specific requirements to relief milk (as part of holiday/sickness/show cover) but will also include field and estate work and basic machinery operation.
At the College there are regular opportunities for CPD alongside industry qualifications - Telehandler, ATV, Ai, brush cutter etc.
You will hold a minimum Level 2 qualification in Agriculture or a relevant subject area and a full UK driving licence. Industrial experience in Agriculture is also essential, along with knowledge of health and safety.
Brinsbury Farm operates for 52 weeks per year. You will be expected to work at times, unsociable hours, weekends and bank holidays.
Evening and weekend work will be required.
