We have an exciting full-time opportunity for a Temporary Staffing Manager to join our team.

The Temporary Staffing team is an essential and integral part of the organisation, specialising and managing the organisation’s temporary staffing needs. We aim to provide a reliable, cost-efficient and customer-driven service to all directorates by responding to requests for all temporary workers, clinical and administrative roles, to provide efficient and safe staffing levels for the provision of healthcare to the population of Kent and pockets of East Sussex and London.

The Temporary Staffing Manager will have direct management responsibility for the whole of the Temporary Staffing team.

Leading by example, you will ensure that the team deliver a professional, efficient, responsive and proactive serviceat all times. Due to the nature of the service and often conflicting demands and deadlines, you will need to be adept at coordinating your own workload, projects and the team’s priorities in a busy work environment.

Your main responsibilities will include:
• Oversee a team of highly motivated professions.
• Support the trust in its aim to provide a reliable, cost-effective and customer driven service.
• Helping to reduce temporary staffing usage across the Trust.
• Ensure that external temporary staff worker supplies are aligned to recognised national frameworks.
• Supporting in the recruitment of new temporary bank workers.
• Help maintain a quality temporary workforce
• Ensure all temporary workers are compliant with their training, registrations, DBS, OH and right to work.
• Ensure that temporary workers are paid weekly
• Work effectively with stakeholders throughout the Trust, other NHS Organisations and NHSE on common goals.
• Ensure a robust reporting process is in place to analyse worker demand to understand underlying causes and identify service improvements.
