Location: Units 3-4 Whitemyres Avenue, Aberdeen AB16 6HQ
Duration: Permanent, Full Time (Saturday AM on-call rota 1 out of 4)
This post is based in the Telecare Service which provides technology solutions, installation and review of users while meeting the needs of our vulnerable or elderly clients. You will assess users for equipment within their home environment and be installing / maintaining bespoke solutions, along with holding awareness sessions on the equipment with various staff groups.
Job Purpose:
You will assist in the day to day operation of the Telecare service contributing to the provision of a high standard of person centred care and support for service users throughout the city of Aberdeen.
Requirements
The post holder needs to hold as a minimum:
- Full driving licence.
- Extensive knowledge in the Electrical or Telecare field.
- Ability to move and handle items of equipment.
Responsibilities
The post holder will be expected to:
- Work in accordance with Adult and Public Protection principles and procedures.
- Adhere to the requirements of company policy and procedures and health and safety policies and legislation.
- Undertake equipment specific training.
- Undertake lifting and handling training
- Complete Customer Service training.
- Undertake the PDA in Telehealthcare
