Framework Housing Association is the lead provider of drug and alcohol treatment within Nottingham City and is excited to be able to offer this unique opportunity to work within a specialised service.
Framework is looking to appoint a Psychosocial Intervention worker for the level in-patient detox. You will join our team of Senior Support Workers, Support Workers and a Psychosocial Team- providing high standards of care and support to Service users. This will include supporting service users in recovery from drug and alcohol misuse and delivering psychosocial groups within the therapy team to support service users to gain more skills for recovery. The Level is a CQC registered drug and alcohol detox facility located in Nottingham.
We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of issues faced by our service users. An understanding of substance use and knowledge of Trauma Informed Care and working in a Psychologically informed Environment are essential.
You will be leading recovery focused group sessions and providing 1-2-1 psychological support for our service users.
Excellent communication skills are essential alongside experience of working with vulnerable people.
Please note Psychosocial Intervention Workers are required to work over a shift pattern.
