Crynodeb
We are seeking a water treatment trainee to join our company.
As a trainee you will work closed with our engineers in assisting them in field based works and training to be an engineer in the process.
Tasks that you will learn to carry out:
- Chlorination of water systems
- Sampling of water systems
- Temperature monitoring of water systems
- Flushing of process water systems
- Cleaning water tanks
- Descaling water systems
- Basic plumbing and pipe fitting
This ideally will suit someone with a keen eye for mechanical engineering.
Its a field based role, There is sometimes nationwide travel but mostly it will be in the midlands. Whilst you learn, you will bee picked up or commute to site to work with qualified engineers daily, with training courses and mentoring along the way.
The candidate will have to be happy to travel to sites for work. All travel is expenses and factored into work and once you become an engineer you will have a work vehicle with fuel card.
Ideal Candidate skills:
- Keen interest in engineering
- Mechanical interest
- Happy to work on construction sites and in commercial properties
- Maths and science minded
- Willingness to learn to drive
- Good communication skills
- IT skills
