Job Role:
Join our team as a Tug Driver and play a vital role in the UK's supply chain, facilitating the efficient movement of cargo from discharge to distribution. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Operating a Tugmaster to pull trailers
- Transferring cargo using a tug tipper
- Completing daily vehicle checks
- Ensuring the safe flow of traffic
- Collaborating effectively as part of a team
Qualifications:
- COSHH
- TUG Licence
- Manual Handling
Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for someone who is:
- Safety-Focused: Always health and safety conscious.
- Licensed: Holds a full UK driving licence.
- Experienced: Previous experience as a Tugmaster or tug tipper is preferred.
- Skilled: Experience operating large vehicles.
- Team-Oriented: Committed to completing work safely and on time, with a flexible approach to tasks.
- Test-Ready: Capable of passing port-specific tests, including drug and alcohol testing.
- Weather-Resilient: Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
