Working Hours: 14 hours per week
Location: Primarily remote, with required in-person meetings - applicants must reside in Southampton area.
Duration: 2-3 months (with the potential to become permanent)
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. While this role allows for remote work, regular in-person meetings at our workplace are a crucial part of the position. This is not a fully remote role, and you must be available for periodic meetings to review progress and set new tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Generate a Customer Database: Research and compile a database of potential new customers for email flyers/newsletter distribution.
• Design Monthly Flyers: Create visually appealing email flyers and newsletters tailored to our business.
• Redesign Excel Sheets: Revamp existing Excel documents to improve ease of use, viewability, and ensure they print out neatly on one page.
• Ad-Hoc Tasks: Assist with various other administrative tasks as needed.
Essential Skills:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Strong working knowledge of Word, Publisher, and Outlook.
• Excel Expertise: Advanced skills in Excel are crucial, including the ability to redesign spreadsheets for better functionality and presentation.
• Document Creation: Ability to create high-quality, user-friendly documents and flyers.
Working Arrangement:
• Primarily Remote: While most work can be done remotely, you will need to attend regular in-person meetings at our office.
• Flexible Hours: 14 hours a week, with flexibility in scheduling, but the in-person meetings are mandatory.
• Equipment Provided: You will be provided with a company laptop and access to our SharePoint server for document management.
Pay and Benefits:
• PAYE: Paid at £12.00 per hour.
• Potential for Permanent: After an initial 2-3 month project, there is potential for this role to become permanent.
