Salary: Competitive, DOE
Contract: Full time, Permanent
Hours: Monday - Friday, 37 hours - An element of flexibility as to when hours are worked

We are now recruiting for a Machine Setter / Operator to set and operate our CNC 5 Axis machine to produce parts correct to drawing.

In addition to this as our CNC Machine Setter / Operator you will be responsible for:

- Set & Operate 5-axis CNC machines to produce high-precision components according to engineering specifications.

- Read and interpret technical drawings.

- Set up tools, fixtures, and machine parameters for optimal performance.

- Monitor and inspect workpieces to ensure they meet stringent quality standards.

- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor machine issues.

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

In order to be successful in this role it's essential that you have:

- 5 years' experience of actual machining.

- 2 years' minimum experience working with 5 Axis.

- IT literate (Windows 7, MS Office).

- Strong understanding of CNC programs.

- Knowledge of materials, tooling and machining techniques.

- Ability to perform precision measurements using callipers, micrometers and other inspection tools.

- Familiarity with Fanuc based controls; DMG Mori Celos, Mazak Mazatrol.

- Familiarity with Heidenhain controls (TNC640).

It would be great if you had:

- Further qualification in an engineering / manufacturing discipline.
