Alba Ultrasound is a world-leading company in the design and manufacture of ultrasonic transducers and arrays, collaborating with industry-leading clients across defence, oil & gas, commercial and scientific markets. To support continual growth an excellent opportunity exists for a permanent full-time Production Assembly Operators to join the team at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Glasgow
The role is based in a high-tech production and manufacturing environment where attention to detail is essential. We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic individuals who are able to achieve accurate results and on time delivery.
The permanent position is on a standard dayshift pattern Monday to Friday and offers competitive salary and pension scheme. All training requirements will be provided.
Key responsibilities
· Hand soldering and wire preparation in accordance with IPC Standards
· Operate automated equipment in accordance with SOPs
· Assembly of precision components using various jigs/fixtures and two-part epoxies ensuring quality requirements are achieved.
· Maintain high levels of cleanliness and housekeeping within the assembly area.
· Ensure compliance with all standard operating procedures and complete all Product specific documentation in accordance with ISO9001 standards.
· Mechanical assembly of low volume high mix bespoke components to tight tolerances.
· Work in accordance with Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety procedures and processes
