Our client is currently recruiting for an assistant to work at their plant nursery.
This role is an immediate start for the right candidate.
Initially this role will be temporary until May, however, can turn into a permanent role for the right candidate.
The position is a 40-hour week with the opportunity for overtime during busy periods, working Monday to Friday:
7.30am – 16.05pm (winter hours)
7.00am – 15.35pm (summer hours)
Duties can vary:
• Lifting plants on to trailers
• Working on a conveyor ready for despatch
• Driving trailers across the nursery to collect and move goods accordingly
Candidates must:
• Have the ability to work in all weathers
• Have a positive can-do attitude
• Good level of fitness, numeracy, and spoken English
• Have transport to get to the location as no direct bus route
Horticultural experience preferred but not essential.
