The haematology service at UCH has 98 inpatient acute haematology/BMT beds across two sites – Grafton Way Building and University College Hospital.

We are a nurse led service at the cutting edge of nursing developments. Our wards are nurse led and are supported by a nursing infrastructure including a dedicated nursing central venous access team, nursing chemotherapy team and a nursing educational team. Not only does this provide our staff with opportunities to develop, it gives them the time to care properly for patients.

T16 North is a 16 bedded ward where you will have the opportunity to look after haematology patients with infectious diseases undergoing different types of treatments, including chemotherapy, CAR-T and stem cell transplant.
