Role: Kitchen Handling Team – Driver & Mate
Job Description
As part of a two-person team, you’ll be responsible for moving pre-delivered kitchen components to designated kitchen rooms on sites. Each team consists of one Driver and one Mate who work together to transport and safely place kitchen parts.
Key Details
• Pay:
• Driver: £110 per day + £0.45 per mile (mileage paid by the client).
• Mate: £100 per day.
• Kitchen units will arrive on pallets by the client’s lorry driver.
• You will not be responsible for delivery by lorry but will manage the movement of kitchen units on-site.
• A site forklift driver will unload the lorry and deliver the pallets to a designated area.
• You will be responsible for moving the kitchen components from the drop-off point to the kitchen rooms.
• Full day’s pay is guaranteed, regardless of whether you handle one load or multiple loads in a day.
Bristol (Must be within 10 miles)
Requirements
• Driver Requirements: Valid driver’s license, CSCS Card, punctuality, and adherence to safety.
• Mate Requirements: CSCS Card, Physical fitness for moving kitchen parts, reliability, and teamwork skills.
• General Requirements: Ability to work collaboratively in a team, manage variable daily workloads, and follow on-site safety protocols.
