We offer a great opportunity for you to develop your career within engineering by joining our largest engineering team based at Worksop.
Reporting to the Logistex Site Manager, the Assistant Engineering role involves shift work providing preventative, reactive and planned maintenance support in an automatic warehouse with both pallet handling cranes and a large tote conveyor. This site has just received significant investment in automated goods handling in the latest technology.
To be successful in this role it is essential that you can:
•Carry out preventative, reactive and operational support activities with Logistex products and systems in response
•Communicate with the Logistex Site Engineering Manager, Supervisor and shift Team Leader as well as the customer in a clear and concise manner
•Adhere to the quality and reporting systems.
•Provide adequate feedback and intelligence to the Central office Kettering Support Centre
•Follow escalation procedures when required.
•Comply with all site H&S measures; actively seek to identify new risks to you and others and work to eliminate them.
A genuine interest in engineering with experience of working in an automated warehouse is desirable. Working at height is a requirement of this role.
