GP Assistants will be expected to: Follow the company confidentiality procedure Support GPs with contacting external agencies such as; on-call doctors, safeguarding teams etc. Understanding medical terminology and using this knowledge when filing clinical letters and extracting information Arranging appropriate appointments and supporting the reception / admin team in signposting patients Taking blood pressures, phlebotomy and basic vaccinations
