We are looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer looking to join our reputable FM client working on high-profile commercial sites across East Scotland/Central Belt. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in facilities maintenance who takes pride in delivering excellent service and enjoys a mix of challenging, varied work.
About the Role:
You'll be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, and minor installations of AC systems in a range of settings including hospitals, universities, retail, and leisure complexes. You'll have the chance to work autonomously as well as part of a team to keep systems running smoothly and ensure safe, comfortable environments for all.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out PPMs and reactive repairs on air conditioning systems.
- Diagnose faults and undertake minor repairs, adjustments, or installations as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety regulations and maintain accurate documentation.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members, providing updates on work progress.
Skills & Experience Needed:
- Proven experience in air conditioning maintenance within an FM or commercial setting
- F-Gas certification essential
- Strong diagnostic skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Good understanding of Health & Safety regulations
