Summary
Currently recruiting experienced, qualified time-served roofers with experience/qualifications in slating/tiling, flat roofing, repairs and maintenance.
Old Plean Roofing Ltd works on both commercial and domestic projects and also has a dedicated team to carry out repairs, maintenance and small works.
The role:
Full time, permanent
40-hours per week Monday to Friday 8am – 4-30pm
Reporting to the Contracts Manager you will use your skills and experience to lead a squad and ensure that all works are carried out to a high standard and within planned timescales.
A keen eye for detail and an ability to problem solve is an important aspect of the role.
Preferred Experience in:
• Pitched and flat roofing systems
• Lead Valleys
• Flashings
• Gutters
• Three-layer felt systems
• Repairs and Maintenance
Do you have what it takes?
To succeed in your role as a Roofer you will:
• Ensure all work is carried out within the allocated time frame and to a high standard and quality.
• Comply and adhere to all Health & Safety regulations
• Conduct yourself appropriately, ensuring the corporate code of conduct and brand
guidelines are adhered to.
• Ensure you maintain accurate job records and communicate all progress to colleagues.
• Have an awareness of manual handling, ladder safety, working at height, abrasive
wheels, first aid, health and safety.
• CSCS Card
You should have a minimum of SVQ in Roofing OR a minimum 5 years trade experience. You will have experience of working in occupied premises and be able to demonstrate good customer service skills. The ability to use mobile technology is essential.
Due to a requirement to travel within this role, candidates must hold a full driving license
