THE ROLE

As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for:

* Conducting thorough inspections of machined, fabricated, welded, pressed, painted, and laser-cut components to meet quality standards and customer specifications

* Performing first-off, patrol, batch, and visual inspections using precision equipment

* Completing First Article Inspection reports to meet client specifications

* Identifying and reporting any deviations, defects, or non-conformities promptly

* Collaborating with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions

* Maintaining accurate inspection records and updating quality documentation, including our ERP system

* Assisting in the development and improvement of quality control processes

* Contributing to continuous improvement efforts within an ISO-controlled environment

* Communicating quality-related information to relevant stakeholders

THE PERSON

* Proven experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing or engineering environment

* Strong understanding of quality control principles and practices

* Proficiency with measurement tools and equipment, with attention to detail for spotting defects

* Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to resolving quality issues

* Strong problem-solving abilities with a commitment to high-quality standards

* Knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems is desirable

* CMM experience is favourable

* Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, CAD software)
