An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Grant Writer to join TheHill Oxford. TheHill is embedded within Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, our aim is to bring digital and innovative technologies into the NHS for the benefit of patients and staff.
Due to our growing success since the conception of TheHill in 2019, we are looking to expand the team hence the development of this role. This is a great position for an individual who has experience of writing successful grant proposals to a range of funders and is now looking for a full-time post within a supportive, busy and passionate team.
We are looking for an enthusiastic communicator, brimming with ideas and initiative, to successfully drive forward and support our income generation portfolio.
We are a small team with a can-do approach, we have developed a strong team culture and collaborative working style. We have a flexible approach to working hours and locations.
The Grants Writer will be responsible for making grant applications for TheHill in its own name, and support the making of applications for OUH FT staff and external start-up innovators
The post-holder will work on their own and with Income Generation and Partnerships Manager to construct a pipeline of opportunities, including identification of suitable grants, establishment of partnerships and consortia, writing and submitting of applications.
This is a role with a wide variety of elements, each of which demand different skill-sets and high levels of concentration as they are executed.

Main responsibilities include:
• Designing and writing grant proposals
• Reviewing grant proposals and managing external relationships
• Generating new opportunities
• Developing project plans, budget and reporting requirements
This role requires someone who is outgoing and friendly, can hit the ground running, thrives on a challenge and has a proactive approach to their work. The postholder will be managed by the TheHill’s Income Generation and Partnerships Manager.
