Duties:
- Manage accounts payable process, including reviewing and processing invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and ensuring timely payments
- Manage Sales ledger, raising invoices, reconcile payments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Prepare and process journal entries for month-end close
- Assist with financial reporting and analysis
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Assist with payroll processing and related tasks
- Support the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial information
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Proficiency in Sage accounting software and MS Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
