We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced midwife to join our Antenatal & Postnatal unit (Mulberry ward) at Whipps Cross Hospital in delivering high quality services to our clients.
We require a midwife who is passionate about providing Antenatal, Intrapartum and Postnatal care for pregnant people/persons.
The post-holder will be a registered midwife with over 2 years’ experience as Band 6, able to demonstrate higher level clinical skills and work independently. You will have sound management skills, resilience, and the ability to meet the demands of a busy clinical service.
In this role you will be expected to demonstrate a passion for promoting evidence-based practice, offer women continuity of care and to support women in every part of their pregnancy journey.
The post holder will be responsible with Maternity High-Risk manager the for the efficient day to day management of the Antenatal/ Postnatal ward by ensuring that robust governance processes are in place to maximize safe, effective, high quality and innovative care is always provided. The successful candidate will be a strong leader and role model who is expected to lead their services to ensure that the patient’s experience is key and that staff have the skills and expertise in providing excellent quality care.
