Job Title: Maintenance Support

Job Type: Maintenance

Location: Norwich, but you may be required to work from other locations at the discretion of the company and with appropriate notice.

Start Date: Asap

Salary: £14.50 per hour (PAYE) - Temp - Perm

Working Hours: 5 Days over a 7 Day period - may include on call (out of hours)

About the Role

â— Assist in the assessment of the effectiveness of maintenance, implementation, and delivery.

â— Implement actions to meet and maintain maintenance standards.

â— Maintenance and completion of accurate records.

â— Systematically solve day-to-day problematical issues which arise.

â— Ensure that the clients rights are protected.

â— Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of those individuals they support.

â— Coordinate and liaise with external agencies to ensure that the clients buildings and vehicles are compliant with the relevant governing bodies/legislation.

About the Candidate:

â— RQF Diploma/ HNC/ City and Guilds in Maintenance or Building Services all desireable but not essential.

â— Plumbing, joinery and plastering skills.

â— Painting and decorating skills.

â— Health and safety knowledge pertaining to building maintenance.

â— Must ensure accurate, legible maintenance schedules are completed and maintained.

â— Assist in the formulation and implementation of maintenance policies and procedures.

â— Good written and verbal English.

â— To be able to communicate with the Client and their visitors.

Specfic Requirements:

â— Experience working wth service users who have additional support needs

â— Previous experience working in a maintenance role

â— Previous employment in the building trade

â— Experience working in a similar trade
