£19.40 per hour

This is an opportunity for you to join Broxbourne Council to teach our local community to swim. We are looking to recruit qualified, enthusiastic and reliable swimming instructors on a permanent and casual basis, to teach various abilities of children and adults, Mondays – Saturday. A variety of shifts are available to fit in with your other commitments. Come and join our small and friendly teams of instructors, with vacancies available at both Laura Trott Leisure Centre in Cheshunt and John Warner Sports Centre in Hoddesdon. If you are interested in joining us, the minimum qualification required is a Swim England Level 2 Teachers Certificate. A Teachers Rescue test is preferable, although training would be offered to the right candidate. Previous teaching experience is also an advantage.

T The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in fluent English
is essential in this post.

T This role requires a disclosure and barring service check as it is working with children or
vulnerable clients.
