Summary
Beers Paint is the first decorator’s merchant arm of the long-established Beers Timber & Building Supplies Ltd group. We offer a great range of products to both the trade and the general public alike. Our aim is to stock the best options available and help direct customers to the right solutions for their job. We also sell a range of designer wallpapers and high-end paints to help customers achieve an extraordinary finish.
We have an exciting opportunity for a new Manager to be the driving force for this business and to help it grow like our other brands.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
Delivering exceptional customer service and advice
Managing and ordering stock
Adjusting range and pricing
Working with suppliers and senior management to develop promotions and Marketing strategies
Mixing paint to specification
Merchandising the products and displays
Creating and developing relationships with customers
Resolving customer queries quickly and efficiently
Essential Skills
A proactive approach and ability to communicate effectively with customers
Good product knowledge
Excellent attention to detail
Self-motivation and a strong work ethic
Experience:
Decorating Centre: 2 years
Desirable Skills
Retail experience within a trade paint or similar environment
Microsoft office experience
A natural flair and/or interest in interior design
A strong sales background
Hours of Work
44.5 hours per week between the hours of 7:30am and 5:00pm - Monday to Thursday, 7:30am to 4:30pm Friday and alternate Saturday mornings.
Salary
£28,000 to £35,000 depending on experience. Significant bonus scheme based on growth and profitability.
