Are you an experienced School Business Manager with a dynamic outlook?
I am working with a inclusive and innovative KS3 and KS4 Pupil Referral Unit who is looking for a committed School Business Manager who can make a difference in the workplace.
This school is a centre of excellence in alternative provision offering academic and vocational qualifications to students from within the local authority, alongside a short stay provision to provide supportive interventions for identified mainstream students, and an outreach team providing targeted support to secondary students within mainstream schools.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Management of the strategy and operation of business functions within the school, including ICT
- Financial Management, including budget and procurement
- Ensuring maintenance of Health and Safety, facilities management
- Human resources management
- General management of team and administration
Experience required:
- Experience of managing a budget of £3.5million +
- Experience of proactively commissioning and developing partnerships with external providers of services
- Experience of negotiating and agreeing contracts
- Experience working in a school or college setting at a management level
- Experience of working with local authorities, parents, professionals and other stakeholders within an educational setting
- Experience of effectively leading and managing people
This is a full time, 52 week permanent role with the opportunity to work from home during the holidays.
