Wire Panel Person - Tiverton

Shifts:

Monday - Thursday 08.00 - 17.00

Friday 08.00 - 13.30

Pay rate: £16.00 per hour + depending on experience

4-6 months contract - may be extended

Are you able to build an electrical control panel working from technical drawings and a collection of components?

A busy industrial electrical manufacturing company in Tiverton is looking to recruit Wire Panel Persons to build complex control panels.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Wiring Panel according to Electrical Schematics drawings
  • Wiring of Electrical machines
  • Wiring Control Panels
  • Installation of cables
  • Layout and Mechanical assembly of Panel according to GA drawings
  • Point to point check of completed panels
  • Assembling the P&C panels
  • Cutting of cable and fitting of cable identification labels

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Industrial/Manufacturing experience in an electrical role (Essential)
  • Panel wiring and electrical fitting experience/Electrical Apprenticship (Essential)
  • Able to read and interpret wiring drawings
  • 18th Edition (Advantageous)
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or AM2 qualified
