Crynodeb
We require a compassionate, reliable part time SEN personal assistant for our daughter who is 24 years old with down syndrome and autism.
She is cheeky and fun loving ,verbal and mobile.
Needs help with personal care and encouragement to be independent within her ability.
The right candidate will have a full driving license and own a reliable car,have a good sense of humour and a practical mindset.
With a firm but fair approach, previous experience with special needs preferred but not essential.
The role offers a minimum of 68 hrs per month to Inc Tue eve 7-12 and 48 hrs of flexible respite care ,some weekend and overnight cover.
Also optional extra hours to cover full time carers holiday and leave.
Responsibilities include assisting with personal care , food preparation,and light household duties.
Caring for small friendly dog and cat whilst coving respite .
Based in canon pyon , Hereford
