We have a vacancy for a happy, positive and dedicated Premises Officer L2 to join our team. You will have responsibility for maintaining the security, safety, condition and cleanliness of the school, including the day-to-day management of our existing team of cleaners. There may also be the opportunity of overtime by supporting lettings out of school hours.Salary: LG Band 4 Point 7 - Point 10. Equivalent = £13.26 per hour. (Full time equivalent annual salary = £25,584 - £27,269. This will be paid on a pro-rata basis - actual annual salary = £13,829.) Contract: 20 hours a week, Monday to Friday 2.00 pm - 6.00 pm, 52 weeks a year. You will be entitled to 34 days holiday to be taken during school holiday periods, this includes Bank Holidays when the school is closed.The successful candidate may have previous experience in a caretaking / premises management role and experience of undertaking routine repairs and maintenance or craft skills in a relevant trade.We are looking for someone with good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate well to staff, governors, pupils and parents and preferably with knowledge and understanding of health and safety issues relevant to the post along with the ability to maintain accurate and efficient records.
