Job Title: Manual Machinist
Location: Ealing
Salary: £37,000 pa
Hours: Monday to Friday DAYS ONLY
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist! In this role, you will operate various manual machines, including lathes and mills, to produce and repair precision parts. If you have a keen eye for detail, enjoy problem-solving, and have a passion for working with mechanical components, we'd love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Operate manual lathes and mills to produce precision parts.
- Perform Centre Lathe Turning.
- Use metrology equipment.
- Carry out thermal spraying and welding (training provided).
Key Skills:
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent mechanical skills with great coordination.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and a focus on safety.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach.
- Effective written and verbal communication.
- Proficiency in Maths.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and repetitive tasks.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Recognised apprenticeship or vocational training in machining or a related field.
- Experience with machine tools or mechanical assemblies.
- Familiarity with safety protocols in a workshop environment.
