Our client is the largest precast manufacturer in the UK and are looking for Electrical Maintenance Fitters to join their team.
The successful candidates role will be to diagnose and fix Electrical problems with manufacturing machines and mechanical parts, work with machine operatives for machine set ups and change over, complete daily, weekly, monthly and yearly machine servicing, advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous, test and inspect electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures to ensure compatibility and safety of systems ensure work is carried out to the highest standard and in the interest of the company, ensure compliance with the Company’s policies including Health & Safety are complied with and observe and comply with all good working practices.
To qualify, you will possess an appropriate City & Guilds and/or NVQ3 Qualification or a time served Electrician. You will be adept at using Microsoft Word and Excel packages, methodical approach to solving queries, good time management skills, ability to work on own initiative, but understand level of responsibility within the team, ability to prioritise work and manage a number of tasks concurrently and possess a valid driving license. Ideally you will also have previous experience in Mechanical Automation works.
It’s also desirable that you have background in batching plants and overhead cranes.
