Keertani Jatha of 3 people required to work in a busy and demanding Manchester Gurdwara Sahib assisting the head priest, with a minimum weekly congregation of upto 650 people.
Main Duties: Should be able to perform Kirtan and carry out other religious activities; Parkash of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji, Nitnem, Sukhmani Sahib, Sehaj Paath, Recite Katha Vichar in the morning and evening, Rehras Sahib, Sukhasan Sahib etc. assist with weddings, births and funerals.
Requirements: Previous experience is essential, vast knowledge of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and Sikh History. Must be fluent in writing, reading and speaking Punjabi and basic english translation. Must have previous experience, of good character and able to provide references.
Duration: min 6 months upto 12 months
Benefits: Excellent salary, (national minimum wage) accommodation will be provided and access to the Gurdwara pantry.
