We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lecturer in Media Makeup, Makeup Artistry, and Theatrical Makeup to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging curriculum content, setting up and leading practical sessions, and integrating relevant theory with hands-on experience in professional media makeup, makeup artistry, and theatrical makeup.
Our curriculum is recognised as a national leader in this field, and we are looking for an individual who can help develop the professional and technical skills of each student. Your role will be critical in nurturing their creativity and expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver curriculum elements
• Conduct practical sessions incorporating theoretical knowledge
• Support and develop students' professional skills and personal development
Ideal Candidate will hold a teaching qualification and relevant experience or Is an experienced and highly skilled practitioner with extensive knowledge of the industry.

As a College we are required to undertake various Safer Recruitment checks as set out within the guidance from the Department for Education Keeping Child Safe in Education. We require all staff to undertake an enhanced Adult and Child Workforce DBS Check and to register with the DBS Update Service. Please note: From 28 November 2020 the government implemented changes to the filtering rules, and we have been instructed that we cannot accept any update service checks on DBS certificates that have been issued before this date. Therefore, a new one must be completed with City College Norwich.
