We are currently seeking a compassionate and committed Higher Level Support Worker to join a vibrant and supportive Secondary School based in the centre of Bristol. This a fulltime role to start in January and will continue for the whole of the academic year.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with students with autism, helping them to thrive in their school environment.
About the Role:
• Student Support: Provide one-on-one and group support to students with autism, helping them navigate both academic and social aspects of school life.
• Classroom Assistance: Work alongside teachers and the SENDco to adapt and implement learning strategies tailored to individual needs.
• Positive Reinforcement: Use positive behavior management techniques to encourage engagement and build students' confidence.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to provide holistic support and ensure each student’s unique needs are met.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
• Have proven experience supporting students with autism, ideally in an educational setting.
• Be familiar with sensory, behavioral, and communication strategies that support students with autism.
• Hold Team Teach training, or be open to complete training provided by the school.
• Show patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs.
