A rapidly growing design and wholesale company in Crewe is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to join it's warehousing team on a full-time basis, to help prepare and receive orders and assist in the day to day general maintenance of the warehouse.
You will be responsible for:
Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch.
Managing inbound deliveries, ensuring any discrepancies are noted and reported.
Having in-depth knowledge and understanding of the product.
Loading and unloading of vehicles.
Performing general computing tasks.
Using company vans to make deliveries to customers on site.
You will be:
Team player with the ability to work alone and to high standards.
Quick learner with a positive 'can do' attitude and good work ethic.
Computer literate with the ability to use Microsoft Office packages and Sage 200.
Good understanding of Health and Safety procedures at work.
Previous work experience working in a busy warehouse or picking/packing environment is essential.
Reach/Counterbalance licenses would be a distinct advantage.
Forklift license preferable.
Driving liscense & CSCS Card preferable.
