Title: Van Driver / Delivery Driver The Best Connection are working closely in partnership with our client to source additional Day Shift Van Drivers (NOT parcels!) to work from their Middlesbrough depot.
The role: Safe operation of a 3.5 tonne vehicle (generally a long wheel base) Vehicle provided Use of a delivery App (training given) Some heavy lifting The work is multi-drop of around 10 - 20 deliveries per day across the country Deliveries to business and domestic customers The candidate: "B" licence with no more than 6 points and no DD or DR endorsements Minimum of 6 months driving experience Experience driving a long wheelbase van Excellent customer service skills Hours of work: Monday to Friday (weekend over time as required) 06.00am to 17.00pm (delivery dependant) Pay Rates: £13.00 per hour (PAYE) for first 5 shifts per week £19.50 after 5 shifts per week Paid holidays (pro-rata) Benefits of working for The Best Connection: On-going assignments Holiday entitlement Personal accident insurance Overtime Excellent rates of pay On-line Payslips Pension provision Candidates will be invited to register online via our digital on-boarding system.
