About the Health & Safety Officer job
The purpose of your role will be to consistently ensure a positive health & safety culture, ensuring all regulatory commitments are met while minimising risks. Help drive a safer, more responsible working environment.
Key tasks
-Ensure all colleagues adhere to H&S policies, encourage near-miss reporting, and promote continuous improvement in EH&S standards.
-Manage the Environmental and Safety Management System, conduct compliance audits, inspections, and ensure site management actions are completed.
-Lead risk assessments, accident/incident investigations, and ensure reporting compliance with RIDDOR and other relevant legislation.
-Train H&S reps, deliver regular reports, maintain up-to-date H&S knowledge, and advise on specialist areas such as first aid, fire safety, and hazardous substances.
About You
-The successful candidate shall possess IOSH Managing Safely, NEBOSH & an up to date First Aid Certification.
-Experience with risk assessments, accident investigation, H&S supervision, and environmental responsibilities.

The package includes 28 days holiday, Healthcare scheme, Long service awards starting from 5 years, free car parking.
The working hours are Monday to Friday and is a 40 hour working week.
