Procurement Officer

Location: Durham

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 37 per week

Salary: £33,411 per annum

Closing Date: Wednesday 6th November, 5pm.



About the role:

The Procurement Officer will carry out a key role, delivering excellent, efficient, and compliant procurement across the Bernicia Group.



About you:

You’ll need:

Public sector procurement experience.
Knowledge of the new Procurement Act.
Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
IT skills including the use of Microsoft packages, including Word and Excel.
Ability to work on own initiative as well as within a team.
