Assist the Finance Business Unit Controller with ad hoc tasks as required.
Deal with all Financial Ledger queries
Process Payroll information for Central services.
Supporting the preparation of management accounts and month-end duties
Reconcile monthly to weekly reporting, Sales, Payroll, MHE, Overheads and General POs
Support Corby operations, head office and external stakeholders with finance queries
Help maintain KPI and balance score card reports, check quality of data including pre invoicing checks
Provide holiday cover for finance colleagues
Promote and maintain culture of continuous improvement.
Maintain and review Financial procedures and ensure compliance with Rhenus and legal Regulations.
Support budgeting and forecasting when required
5 KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED (including professional qualifications and memberships)
§ Demonstrates attention to detail and a good level of numeracy skills
§ Analytical and problem solving ability
§ Previous finance experience in a similar role, relevant apprenticeship or financial admin
experience
§ Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
§ Experience of WMS and bespoke software packages, able to extract and analyse data to
provide meaningful management information
§ AAT Foundation Certificate in Accounting (Level 2) or above, or qualified by experience
§ Organised and able to prioritise workload to meet deadlines and achieve targets
§ Commercial awareness
DESIRABLE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL
§ Educated to A Level standard or equivalent
§ Previous 3PL or similar in a similar role
