Summary
The Role:
Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) is currently seeking a dedicated and service-oriented individual to join our Catering team as an Evening Catering Assistant. This role offers an opportunity to work within our vibrant Fleetwood Nautical College, providing an essential service to our students and staff.
Location: Fleetwood Nautical College
Working Days: Monday to Friday, 16:30 - 19:00
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
As an Evening Catering Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality, friendly service during the evening meal period. Your duties will involve:
Ensuring production quality is maintained at the highest standard and serving all products with attention to portion control and service standards.
Reducing wastage by adhering to college guidelines and documenting any wastage as needed.
Maintaining the cleanliness of the unit and ensuring compliance with the Food Hygiene Regulations Act and The Food Safety Act.
Conducting daily checks, stock-taking, with college financial regulations.
Assisting with additional functions or services outside normal hours, if required.

Our Catering Department is an essential part of the College, dedicated to providing high-quality food and beverage services that support our students and staff. The team works closely with the Catering Manager to ensure an exceptional experience across all college campuses, maintaining professionalism and commitment to food safety.
